Dinner at 6:15 p.m. Concert – 8:00 p.m.
Join us for our traditional Thanksgiving Harvest Home Banquet on Friday, November 21st at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale today. $14.00 for adults; $8.00 for children 5-7; and children 4 and under are free. Following the dinner there will be a concert featuring The Orion Chamber String Orchestra, Leonard Holiday, Director. Our offering goal is $10,000 to supplement the budget.

Beginning today, the Mission Board is collecting gift-filled shoeboxes for the annual Samaritan’s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child. Stop by the table in the foyer to read the testimonies of impoverished children who have been impacted for Christ through this ministry. To participate, you may pick up empty shoeboxes in the foyer (or use your own); fill and return them by November 9. The enclosed brochure contains gift ideas and packing instructions.

My title comes from the heading in my Bible over Ecclesiastes 12 and seems fitting for this particular time in my life. My family and I had the opportunity to travel down to Indiana to attend my 20 year high school reunion! Many of you have had similar milestones in your own lives and it makes you ponder questions such as Pastor Cosand kindly asked me this morning, “So, how do you feel about yourself now?” You stop and take an account of what you have accomplished with the life that has been given you. It can be humbling and gratifying at the same time.
