Annual Canoeing / Camping Trip on the AuSable River
Thursday, August 26, to Saturday, August 28, 2010

We will be leaving for a canoeing and camping trip at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 26 and returning Saturday, August 28 at about 2:30 p.m. The trip is open to all 6th grade – adult; younger children will be able to attend if accompanied by an adult. Cost is $40* each, which covers camping, canoeing, and meals (except fast food on the return trip home). Contact Pastor Scott Beaman for more information. *There will be a lesser charge for young children.

Suppers For Six
Mark your calendars for the next Bethel Suppers For Six. Bring a dish, and enjoy dinner and fellowship in a home setting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 13. Suppers For Six is for singles and couples, families of all sizes, as well as for young and mature believers. To attend or to be a host, sign up on the Notice Board in the hallway. Bulletin: Week of July 18,2010

Missionary Christmas -
Sunday, July 25
Stephen and Ginger Jordan and their children, who are home on furlough from the Philippines, will be with us this year. They will be with us all day, starting with breakfast at 8:45 a.m. Sign up on the sheet in the hall if you will be attending the breakfast. Stephen will be speaking in Sunday School and in both worship services. We will end with cake and an ice cream fellowship after the evening service. Our goal of $4,000 for the special offering is to be divided between our twelve missionaries. The offering will be taken today and next Sunday. Please pray about how the Lord would have you contribute to the offering to encourage our missionaries.
