We are seeking to create a culture within the Youth Group that is conducive to forming in one another a knowledge of God and how to begin and maintain a relationship with Him.
T. E. A. M.
T.E.A.M. is an acronym that stands for the various parts of our youth philosophy of ministry, which are the following:
Training - consists of everything we do to teach each other about the Lord Jesus Christ, serving Him and others, and having a victorious Christian Life.
Evangelism - consists of our desire to reach those within and outside of our Youth Group with the Gospel, is an emphasis whenever we meet, and includes activities to evangelize and train the Teens to do so.
Activity - encompasses the many types of activities we have for the Teens on a regular basis, ranging from service to game, to fellowship or teaching activities.
Ministry - is an area touched by every other area because we constantly want to teach what it means to serve someone else. Youth Night services, passing out tracts, raking leaves or mowing a yard are various types of ministry opportunities.
Luke 19:10 says that Christ came “to seek and to save that which was lost” and Matthew 1:21 says that His Mission was to “save his people from their sins.” In keeping with Jesus’ mission and the Great Commission, “We exist to glorify God by making and maturing disciples who are becoming like Jesus Christ.”
